The Origins

The museum was founded in 1975 by Don Cirillo Bergamaschi, who was also its first director.

The scholar and researcher of the Centro Studi Rosminiano di Stresa, a native of Gurro, became a promoter among the residents of Gurro and the Valley of initiatives aimed to preserve the memory of the customs and traditions of the local population
